About Us

We are the Arshad family! There are seven of us. We have lived most of our lives in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Do you ever feel tired with the monotony of life repeating itself over and over again?

Like there are never enough hours in the day to do anything else other than just function?

Functioning but not really living. Feeling constantly tired, unhappy and unfulfilled? Regularly telling yourself there has to be more to life than just this mundane existence I am currently in?

Well this is how we felt!

We decided enough is enough. We were going to pluck up the courage to try something different and change our lives for the better. Do we know exactly how we are going to achieve this? Not really. We have the conviction to give it a try and that’s the most important thing.

In Dec 2019, we decided to plan for a trip of a lifetime to travel and reconnect as a family.

Several factors were conspiring against us including a major global pandemic.

We managed a 35 day road-trip around Spain, Portugal and France in July 2020. This trip along with seeing so many people lose their lives to Covid, inspired us to start thinking about making some big decisions which were going to change our lives forever.

We then decided to take the plunge, sell everything we owned, take our kids out of school and travel the world in July 2022.

I am super laid back. I have a passion for Yoga and Meditation. I love travelling, music, nutritious foods, meeting new people and spending lots of time outdoors. I’m happiest when I’m with my children watching them be happy, run free in the sunshine.

Most of my time I find myself in front of a laptop. Not just for my 9-5 in financial services but also for everything else that comes with running a busy home to 7. I also have a few investment properties which can be time consuming. But I love exercise and will always make time for training no matter what hour of the day.

Sleep is a premium commodity in the Arshad house! I love sports and music so when I can, I will catch up with friends to share this passion. If the truth be told, I am tired of the 9 – 5 routine and I don’t feel like I get to spend much quality time with my wife and children.

I love the usual stuff such as games consoles and junk food. I have been homeschooling myself for the last few years and have adapted myself to a life without state school very well.

I recently completed my Maths and English iGCSE’s. In my spare time, I love to play the guitar and practice regularly. I also enjoy software coding, strategy games and Taekwando. Before we go on our family travels, I just took and passed my PADI scuba diving course which I am very happy about. I can’t wait to scuba dive with my dad.

I love playing outside with my brothers and sisters especially in a swimming pool or the seaside. I love making new friends because I’m kind and chatty. My hobbies are singing, dancing, playing with my dolls, drawing and cuddles with Daddy.

I am the baby of the family (mummy’s boy). I am playful, funny and feel confident when I have my brothers and sisters around me. I can also be territorial and shy but when I am confident and happy, I can be the opposite.
